When you are experiencing personal or professional challenges, or are juggling ongoing pressures, it can sometimes feel as if you are stuck in your situation with little room for manoeuvre. Whilst this can be frustrating and draining in the short-term, over time, if left unchecked, it can negatively impact on your wellbeing - affecting your home life, your relationships and your performance at work or in educational settings.

Cothan was created because we passionately believe that it shouldn’t be like this, particularly given that 25% of people in the UK experience anxiety or depression each year (Mind UK). Whilst we can’t offer treatment for conditions such as these, our mission is to support you during testing times - helping you to negotiate challenges or pressures effectively, and move beyond your current situation in ways that are important to you.

Through professional and accredited coaching (or mentoring for young people), we work with you to understand what is currently going in your life, as well as where you ideally want to be moving forward. We then support you to develop the strategies and resources needed for you to navigate challenges or stressors like a pro, and achieve your future aims. We also offer certified mindfulness skills training to help you find some calm and space in your life, regardless of how busy it is.

When you use our services, you are also helping to make a positive difference, as your support enables us to offer free mentoring to disadvantaged young people - a service that is especially needed in these challenging times.
